A special study center of Indira Gandhi Natuional Open University was established in the year       2006.

It is the only study center of IGNOU in the entire District.

The certificates issued by IGNOU are recognized through out India by all the Universities.

153 students have joined in various programme.

Certificate in Computing (CIC), Food and Nutrition (CFN) , Child Care (CNCC) , Nutrition             Education (CAFÉ) and Teaching English CTE. All the courses introduced by IGNOU are need –       based with utilitarian value.       

The certificates are useful for career improvement as well as for procuring jobs.
